how long will a blow dry on mad curly hair last?

I have a wedding on Saturday and only have a chance to go to hairdresser on Thursday. If they tame my mad hair and blow dry it straight, , will it keep till Saturday, if I touch it up with straighteners> Or should I just do it all myself Saturday morning?

Not sure really Oranges. Have you got a friend who could blow dry it straight for you on Saturday morning or even Friday night, then run the straightners over it Saturday morning. I find with mine, which is quite long, but curly but just has an irritating habit of kinking and waving once i have slept on it, that freshly washed and straightened on the day of a special occasion works best. I also read somewhere that a celebrity, can't remember who, swears by sleeping on a satin or silk pillow case as it helps her hair stay sleek and straight. Might be worth a go.
