Burberry specialist dry cleaner?

StepsInTime · 23/09/2025 18:28

I bought a pre-loved Burberry quilted jacket a few months ago. I just realised it says it needs specialist dry cleaning. Is this really necessary? Would it ruin it if I put it in the washing machine like my previous non-Burberry jacket?

If it is necessary could you recommend one in central or north london?

Thank you!

I often wash things on the delicates cycle and they have been fine. Maybe see what advice other people give before you do that.

Personally I'd take it to a dry cleaner if nothing else you'll get advice.

I had a very expensive annoying outfit I took ot to tge dry cleaner who basically told.me.it was uncleanable (parts were non-removable leather 🤨) they did an awesome spot clean for me and gave me advice to clean at home

I recommend Jeeves of Belgravia for a specialist dry clean. They have a few branches, one in Chelsea and one in Mayfair.

Thank you both!
