How do you tie your hair up on holiday?

I have long hair, so I need to tie it up before swimming on holiday. Whichever way I do it, I always feel it looks frumpy. Is there a chic or trendy way to do this?

Messy bun for me, it’s easier during the day. Sometimes from a pony tail and sometimes from a plait

the same way I do every other day, in a ponytail!

It basically gets chucked up in a scraggly bun, not one of those artful messy style buns but a literally frazzled blob on my head style bun, comes down for washing as and when and then gets chucked back up!
But holidays are the time I care about my appearance the absolute least 😂 there is no photo evidence 😂
