Wanted! Good hairdresser in London!

Just turned 35 with 4 month old baby & am returning to grown-up job in 2 month's time (yikes!). Need to rethink my hair as the whole highlghts/long curly mane thing is doing me no favours for a bunch of reasons! I need a hairdresser with some imagination & vision who can look at my face shape/hear about my lifestyle & recommend a style & colour for me. As this is a bit of a major job I'll be prepared to pay more than I usually would - any ideas?!

Hi, I don't have curly hair I'm afraid, I would love it though my hair is boringly straight! Darren's gorgeous curly haired wife who is also a fabulous hairdresser came to see him one time whilst I was having my hair cut and her hair was amazing so I reckon he knows what he's doing with the crimped follicle! Good luck finding someone.

I've booked myself in with Darren on Friday 20th. I think it's going to be a Barclaycard sponsored event for me but I have a holiday, a July wedding and an August return-to-work date looming so reckon I could do with exiting Planet Bad Hair! Vidal sassoon, won't go anywhere else. Masters at work. Expensive but their cuts last forever and grow out beautifully.
