What is a good moisturiser for a teenager with acne? Thanks in advance!

La Roche posay effaclair is meant to be really good, obviously a pity it’s not as cheap as supermarket brands but my friend was saying her daughter finds it great.

Is the teenager using anything to treat the acne?
I'd tackle the acne separately and use a simple moisturiser.

As the parent of a teenager with acne, please just go to the gp. Once you have a treatment you will need a very plain moisturiser - cetaphil or cera ve are good, and a factor 50 as most acne treatments make the skin super sun sensitive.

I agree with @AlphabetBird . See the GP for a topical solution for the acne, Use a simple, plain and non-comedogenic moisturiser like Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Face Moisturiser 125ml | Skin | Superdrug.

Sorry should have added she is on antibiotics and a face cream for the acne. She used ro use Cerave but I hears it had a lot of additives? And for some reason it used to dry her skin

You could ask the GP what to use.
I'd stick to unfragranced moisturiser, probably a cheap plain Boots or Superdrug own brand.

The Waitrose Pure stuff is nice and plain, and inexpensive. Other supermarkets should have something similar. Something like Tesco Kind And Pure Hydrating Daily Moisturiser 75Ml - Tesco Groceries

Thanks all
