Smart sportswear for school - please help a larger lady!

I've just started working as a school TA, we're expected to come in in sportswear on the days when our class has PE as often the teachers and TAs will help. I have no idea what to wear though! I have gym wear but it's all a bit old and faded - fine for the gym but not really for school when we still have to look smart-ish. Plus, I'm a size 16 - 18 and I really hate the idea of wearing leggings and a sports top which doesn't cover my lumps and bumps and fat tummy - my current gym wear includes massively oversized tops which I'm more comfortable in, but again, not suitable for school. I think that what I need are some thick, long length leggings, probably a slightly oversized top to over bum length, and a zip up hoodie of some sort for the days when we do PE outside. Any suggestions gratefully received as I have no idea what would look reasonably ok Confused

Sorry I can’t offer any advice, but I am a plus-sized TA so will be watching this thread with interest! Hopefully someone will be along soon with PE inspiration!

Suggest you have a look at TLC Sport’s bootcut leggings - lovely thick material with control stretch.

Llama leisure leggings are my plus sized choice currently, high waisted (I like to hold everything in a bit!) and v comfy too. Lots of oversized tops around currently so that shouldn't be too difficult. I also opt for a vest top tucked in to my leggings under my actual top to prevent scarring anyone mentally when i stretch up 😆 At our school teachers and TAs tend to wear leggings and the adult version of the school sports hoodie although not an actual requirement.

Thank you @Artifishal and @cortex10 for the recommendations, I'll have a look at those! Our small town only has a Sports Direct, so I don't get to see many sportswear brands/ types there (hence why personal recommendations are very useful!) - our SD has loads of football kits but not much else, sadly.

It's tricky isn't it @80smercedes - the teacher I work with is absolutely lovely, but she's a tiny wee slip of a girl, I already feel like a heffalump next to her Confused

These folk mostly (but not entirely) do women’s golf wear, but you might find something smart here Suitably Sporty
