Ankle black trousers to wear with chunky sock boots

As it says in the title. I’m after a pair for work and I love that Toast look of chunky boot and cropped trousers. But I need them a bit smarter in a true black. I also have really a big stomach although I’m a size 10 and can’t do high waisted which rules a lot out. Can anyone help please?

No help with the trousers but sock boots......It takes me half an hour to get mine on!!! Is there a knack?

I found some with a zip. I can’t get them on either. The top of my feet is very high if you know what I mean.

Black cullottes I just bought these and love them (and the price!). I love cropped trousers and chunky boots. My rule for buying clothes is “would it look out of place in Toast?”. I think they pass. The cords is very, very fine, almost velvety.
