My natural mouth downturn is looking terrible these days. What can I do about it?

I’m booked in for Botox for this in 2 weeks time so will report back

Denise Richards has this but looks fabulous when she smiles. I actually think it’s quite attractive as when the smile comes it’s like a rainbow.

Some filler/but find a really good practitioner

Filler works wonders for this. I was fed up with looking at my miserable mouth in the mirror and this made me look like me again.

Did nothing for mine.

I feel like botox can help with the sorts of wrinkles that are due to repetitive face movements like eyes and frowns. But the drooping mouth is gravity and loss of collagen. I did get some advice on this and profhilo was suggested. But I can't really see how it would help.

Botox can definitely help but needs a very good practitioner. I had excellent results with using a facial surgeon. I would be hesitant about using a cosmetic practitioner as it can go wrong if injected in the wrong place.
i had 2 injections at the base of my chin and then one either side of my lower mouth into my DAO.
Often it’s to do with your teeth/mouth/jaw shape which changes as you get older so not just a skin sagging issue.
Google DAO Botox and you’ll find examples. Apparently I have very strong DAO muscle which actively pulls my mouth down so hopefully I will need less regular injections as my muscle relaxes .

I read that you need filler in your cheeks to lift the lower face

I had Botox to fix my ‘resting bitch face’ and it worked well. Said I’d need it topping up every 3-4 months but only needing to get it done again now which is 10 months later. Cost £90 in central London and very much worth it.
