bikini with good secure top for SMALL boobs!

I need a bikini that will withstand the persistant clawing at my chest by a 13 month old without exposing me to all and sundry on the beach.

I am a 36A in most bra sizes but most bikinis I find with good coverage on top are only available in bigger sizes (D cup+) and everything for smaller cup sizes is flimsy triangle cups or the like.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Maybe I need a speedo this year...

You need padded cups. Good armour, and give a bit of shape to boot.

What about a bandeau top? Triangle tops with teensy strings are not breastfeeding child proof, but bandeau tops can be and they look great on smaller breasts.

But he'll just whap a bandeau top down with one hand tied behind his back!

Does this look baby proof? ?

Can't you just wear a one-piece if he's that determined?

castille · 02/06/2008 15:10

Yes, that's the sort of thing I wear. Fab for little boobs and more toddler proof than itsy triangles

Similar ones available from Next - and they do seperates so you can go for different bottoms.
Have just bought these

and they are fabulous, make my 34A boobs look very shapely and so far toddler proof.

My fave is the chocolate and cream coloured one, and I even managed to get a beaded chiffon kaftan thing in Primark to match (£3 bargain)

If you are going to order from Next you can get free delivery by quoting ref V1996.

I've got the brown and cream bikini for my honeymoon. Am also a 34A and it fits like a dream and gives me great shape.

mamiguay · 05/06/2008 13:46

it doesn't have loads of foam padding though does it? I had one like that and everytime I got out of the water the cups sagged downwards with all the water they had soaked up!!

It is lightly padded, not too much in my opinion. Also the neck tie/strap is ultra secure so I don't think it will go anywhere.
