I want to feel good about myself

I have an awards do end of October. It’s a creative crowd and I have no idea what websites to look at for an outfit (can’t get out to the shops). It’ll be fancy but trendy. Can’t wear something that needs fancy big heels! I’m 35 and 5’9. Size 14 with big boobs so need a bra. Any ideas would be most appreciated please. I have no confidence since babies. I also hate patterns and anything in your face!

This is the scenario where you throw yourself on a personal shopper at a department store ( look for a young personal shopper at a shop that carries lots of brands; they are usually free). Forget about heels: they're not trendy anyway. Bright colour will do the heavy lifting here, I'd think. Go red or (radical) yellow, green. Don't hide in black or maroon.

I’d look at Reiss, their clothes are beautiful and their dresses fit the brief and usually can be worn with a bra, also check out the outlet dresses, as unsure of your budget,

i love this dress but I’m not sure it would work with big boobs.

Sorry, I have no clue how to reply to a message (would love help here too!). To be honest, I never really feel good now I’m bigger. My top half seems to ruin outfits and I just feel huge (comparing to my younger self).
Day looks, I’d say Cameron Diaz, Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Aniston is the style I like but honestly, I don’t know about a best day look (sorry, as it’s a great question and I’ll think about it).

I’ve thought about a personal shopper but I’m worried they’d just see how unconfident I am and say all the right things to make me buy things I shouldn’t!

can you give any more info? Is it a dress type of event or jeans/top/oversized blazer? tell us what you’d feel most confident in and I’ll be able to suggest a few places☺️

@Silverbirchleaf , she’s only 35 snd those dresses are really not in any way trendy, I’m in my fifties and wouldn’t wear them,

As you’re tall, with big boobs, I think separates/a co-ord set might be the way to go. Dresses can shroud the body too much with big boobs (unless very fitted/tailored).

For dresses, I’d highly recommend clubllondon amazing fit to them. (I am a very similar size to you and feel the same since having baby no2) and I honestly felt so confident wearing one of their dresses to a wedding recently
