Fine, wavy haircut inspo

I am looking for some hair inspiration and would be grateful for any input!

I have longish, lightly layered, wavy to curly (wavy near scalp, large corkscrews at the ends), fairly fine hair. I like having long hair but because of my hair texture and probably length, it's quite flat on top and I've noticed my scalp shows through at the crown from some angles. I don't style my hair at all apart from combing with a wide-tooth comb. I've tried curl enhancers and mousse but they just make my hair look and feel greasy, and even flatter up top. I'm in my 40s and I think my hair has got thinner in the last couple of years, and will presumably continue to do so going forward.

If you have a similar hair type and a cut or styling routine you are happy with, I'd love to hear about it!

I have similar hair, although not quite in ringlets at the ends. I’ve recently had it cut shorter to collar length and I love it. I rough dry with a volumising mousse (Larry King My Nana’s Mousse is great), then I loosely curly random sections and spray with some texturising spray (Cool Girl or Origen). I like the volume and the soft undone finish, plus there is less weight to drag my hair down.

Awesome, thank you! How is it cut, aside from length?

A few long layers at the front but nothing too specific. Mine goes crazy if layered too much and it does better getting the shape and texture from the products and the wand.
