Where can I find a really smart looking two piece lounge suit?

I am one of those people who love to get straight into my PJ's as soon as I can, however I am often having to pop out either to pick up dd from work and college, walk round to my elderly parents house as I help to care for my mum or to the shops etc.

I am trying to find a really nice looking two piece lounge suit that I can wear around the house but something which would also look nice if I need to go out, something that I can team up with a pair of trainers and doesn't look like I have stepped out in my PJ's.

I have had a google but many recommended look like a cheap chavvy tracksuit or the material is too thin for the winter, I can't quite find what I had in mind.

I would rather pay a little bit more for it and get lots of wear from it than something which looks too cheap.

A jumper/sweatshirt top and wide legged trousers combo rather than leggings and a t shirt type top.

Try looking for soft trousers. Autumn winter ranges are in now, so the heavier weight materials will be in stock.

Places like Cotton Traders, Lands End can be surprisingly good for this sort of thing. Also stalwarts like M&S, Uniqlo.

Nothing I wear in the house is elegant. It's covered in cat hair in 5 minutes.

I live in high waist bootcut yoga pants, soft sports bra, vest top and cardigan, if I'm at home on the weekends or evenings. I usually change into it after my shower post gym session. I call them my comfies, ok to nip to the shop in and I'm not embarrassed to answer the door in them like I was in my pj's.

How much do you want to spend? Have you tried the White Company, M&S, John Lewis?
