Help me find my perfect jeans

I desperately need to invest in a couple of good pair of jeans.

I own three pairs at the minute. A pair of primark black ‘mum’ jeans that were a panic buy and I hate everything about, a pair of baggy beige fjallraven (men’s I think) ones I love but that are too long and a size too big and a pair of charity shop jeans that I’ve been kept wearing even though they’ve had a hole i them for about a month.

I just want fairly plain blue jeans and I prefer a highish waist and I think a baggy or straight leg.

Send help (and jean recs)

Go straight to Marks and Spencer!
They have a huge variety of styles, the denim is great lots of high waisted options. Various leg lengths, reasonably priced.
It's the only brand other than Lee that fits properly on me, cut for women's shape. Actually smaller at the waist and wider at the hips, love them!

Or Tesco, but M&S are much better.

Tesco do brilliant wide leg jeans. My favourite pair came from there. Next also have good ones, though it depends how much you're willing to spend

I would take up the ones that are too long so they are no longer too long. Also maybe try some curve/ barrel leg jeans - I've liked the Uniqlo ones

Im quite tall, about 5'9 and tried on SO MANY pairs a couple of weeks ago,.my M&s had none in my size, ditto Next, fat face were too short, White Stuff no good either, nothing in H&M...ended up buying the perfect pair in Jigsaw for £99 which is steep for me but they're great.

M&S jeans are brilliant. True to size, fit well and wash well. Lots of different cuts, colours and styles including high waist versions. If budget allows I’d recommend getting a couple (or 3) of the style you like best so you’ve got back ups - nothing more annoying than getting the dream pair and it’s then discontinued.

Next are also good but not quite as good as M&S.

Me too OP I'm a 12 waist and 14 hips. Non stretch jeans are horrible for me and the waist always gapes hugely. I like straight leg jeans. Might go to marks on pay day.

I went to Harvey Nicholas and asked for help, they have jeans stylists in the denim dept. Ended up with Frame Genevive in dark blue and ive bought more shades online.....
