Wide leg jeans for a short stumpy person

I’m 5’3 and a curvy size 16/18 with a tummy.
I find that cropped wide leg jeans look ok (white stuff) but I’m struggling to find a full length wide leg jean that looks good. I don’t want stretch, I need something structured and firm to hold my belly in and give me a good shape!

any suggestions?

As someone who is about your height and not long-legged, I'd say you're struggling to find full length wide leg jeans that looks good because that style won't look good on you.
I'm sticking to straight jeans, but will wear skinnies with knee-high boots.
I need heels with bootleg jeans.

I recommend ignoring any naysayers op, I'm not the same size as you but I'm the same height and wide legs have always been my favourite shape.

I got some cropped ones from the Uniqlo U range a couple of years ago that are a perfect full length on me and I don't think they have any stretch. I'm not sure if they're still doing them but worth checking.

Community Clothing jeans are more expensive but a) they're not outrageously wide so the proportions can work better and b) they offer a choice of 3 lengths. Again I'm not sure if they have any stretch but, if they do, I don't find it noticeable. They also model them on women of different sizes so there's a chance to see how they might look.

I’m 5’4” and got some baggy curve jeans from Uniqlo that they hem before dispatching. I had 2” off and they’re perfect. I wish every shop offered this.

I’ve not added a link before but I’ll try https://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.1294598002.html I have these in this colour and white
being 5 f 2 they are a really good length on me I can wear trainers or a small heal boot. They are true to size but sold as cropped - not cropped on me!

I’m 5 foot 1, size 12 with a tummy.
i really like Fat Face Elise jeans. They’re thick denim, come up high enough on my middle to hold it all in. I buy the short length and they’re a tad too long, even though I have (relatively) long legs, so you’ll be ok at 5 foot 3, I’d say.
They’re true to size.

The Fat Face Elise jeans contain elastane. FF jeans are usually good.

The update nobody asked for!
I have given up on wide leg jeans after trying on many many pairs, they just don’t suit. My SIL is a chubby short apple and she looks fab in them, I’m a chubby short curvy shape so I’ve gone for barrel leg jeans which look great with short tops and fitted jackets.

These are the kiddies:

I just needed to know I could throw in the towel and move on 😁
