Has anyone used any at home skin tag removal kits that could share what one they've used that works? And how long it took to work.

I've seen patches or the sprays.

I have one on my leg in my inner thigh id like rid of

I tie a bit of cotton really tightly around them, as close to the base as possible. Wait a couple of days and they drop off.

Mercurial123 · 08/09/2025 22:15

I just tied dental floss around them and they fell off after a couple of days.

The stuff you get to freeze them off at home works well OP

I bought one on amazon that ties a little loop round it. Felt like it wasn’t going to come off but did and no scarring at all and I even did a weird tiny one on the eyelid. Excellent.
It did hurt a little but so glad they are gone in less than a week,

Cacukun is the brand name skin tag remover kit.

I’ve only ever used cotton. I’ve actually got one I must sort on my chest - not helped by it being right where my conker pendant hangs

I used Tag Band from Amazon. Worked really well.

Hi yes I've used Cryotag on a skin tag on my neck. It took just a few minutes to apply and then the skin tag fell off after a week. I bought it on Amazon but I have seen it in Boots too.

i used one if these on Wednesday on a larger one I have that really annoys me as it catches on everything. It’s still quite swollen and bleeds a little 🙈wish I had of just tied dental floss round it, I’m tempted to just cut it off now it’s freaking me out!!

FiloPasty · 19/10/2025 21:19

@Daniki i had one like that and I stuck a plaster over it, one of the reasons it annoyed me previously was that it caught on everything so it was a pain, but persevere it’s brilliant once it’s off!

IndiaAutumn · 19/10/2025 21:20

I snipped one off with nail scissors. Painful but it did the job 😭

MerylSqueak · 19/10/2025 21:26

I used this one from Amazon. It's out of stock but there are lots that are similar. I was really worried about it but it was very quick and easy. I would really recommend it.

@MerylSqueak thats the exact one I bought too! Hoping it’s doing its job despite the bit of bleeding iv got 😂

@FiloPasty yep iv stuck a plaster on it and hoping for the best, really hoping I haven’t caused some issue that will result in an infection 😂 but Jesus I’m dying for it to be gone!

Nearly50omg · 19/10/2025 21:49

I cut mine off with nail cuticle scissors 😀

FiloPasty · 19/10/2025 21:57

Once I’d done them all I was a bit disappointed I’d run out, I’ve been trying to let my husband let me do his :)
