I’ll be going out with my friends for my 40th in October to a cocktail bar with DJ in Central London - there will be lots of dancing and drinking involved.
Help me find a dress please! I want to feel confident and sexy and stand out as the Birthday girl.
I love square necks and I like my cleavage or décolletage being on show. I love bold and bright colours and patterns, leopard print, and adore sequins. I also do like some plain clothes so long as they are cut interestingly.
I’m a size 16 and have a huge stomach which I’m very self conscious about, and I’m an hourglass. I usually wear midi dresses, but I keep thinking of doing a mini dress for my party - open to either length. Open to sleeves or no sleeves.
I love Rixo and have lots of clothes from there but I haven’t seen ‘the Birthday dress’ in there, and I love the aesthetic of a lot of Never Fully Dressed, Kitri and Farm Rio clothes but haven’t bought anything in these before, nor have I found a dress for my party. I ideally do t want to spend Rixo type prices either. I’ve seen lots of gorgeous sequinned Warehouse dresses but they are out of my size.
I’d say that ideally I’d like the dress to be under £100, but I’d go up to around £250 if it was really stunning.
