Finding knickers that fit

Hoping someone can help me! All my knickers are really uncomfortable, they literally fall down. I have a couple of pairs which I make sure are available if I am playing netball or going walking. They are quite old and the last ones of 3/5 packs M&S. I can't get more the same. I've tried midi and bikini style Sloggi, White Stuff, Next and some bigger gym/runner style seamless ones from Amazon. I want to try again but I don't want to buy any more that fall down! I can't understand whether they are too big or too small or the wrong shape! Any idea why this is happening ?!

Thanks all for the recommendations, I will check them all out and potentially try a dress size smaller than my usual size to see if the hip measurement is the problem.

I’ve always bought knickers a size smaller than my trousers. Somehow works better for me.

I recently replaced my worn out knickers with new ones from Amazon and was unsure about the size. They were a bit on the big side so I tried to return them. Then I found out that they weren't returnable, but when I called customer services they just refunded me and said keep them anyway.

If it helps, the difference between the two sizes is mainly in the rise. The sort of Amazon knickers that everyone is recommending are plenty stretchy enough to cope with two sizes.

I know you’ve said you have tried Next but have you tried their three packs of invisible seam underwear? I’d try a 12 as they are generous. The plain and scalloped edge styles are both great.

its probably a bit like most brands in that sizing differs which is annoying. Although on the flip side there’s nothing worse than underwear that’s too tight, especially a thong (don’t wear them) or in my case, Brazilians I bought that went right up the bum (sorry if tmi) they were fairly spenny from intimissi as well so I was quite peeved. It was just paving the way for the starts of a bacterial infection, not nice! So give me oversized and proper bum coverage any day over too tight

Having got fed up with M and S ones feeling uncomfortable (after years of them being OK) I now buy mine from Peacocks, I buy the full briefs but they have various styles, I find them very comfortable and they don't fall down on me. (and they are pretty cheap so if they aren't comfy not a monetary disaster)
