Boots home hair straightening kit - anyone tried one?

Just wondered if it really works, or whether I'm wasting my £14.99. Desperate to stop my hair frizzing and curling in this damp weather. Thanks.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me...if its anything like the 'home highlighting kit' which made my head look like a bird had just done a giant ginger pooh on it .

i did it once and my hair fell out!!

i really wouldnt. i got it done at a salon and i think there is a definite skill to it - go to a pro!
