Where to get really good leggings?

Where can I get nice thick black leggings from, that I can wear with an oversize jumper? Want ones that don’t show every bit of cellulite or that are see through! Thanks!

Nobody looks good in leggings - sorry.

mumisfull · 06/09/2025 21:28

lovall leggings are good. The winter ones are really warm!

ICanSpellConfusionWithaK · 06/09/2025 21:29

Mine are from Amazon. Fleece lined. I have 3 pairs (and not great, lumpy legs)

Lovall. Wouldn’t buy anything else. I like the lightweight ones that are viscose with a high amount of elastane. They are very thick and keep you pulled in. As above, the winter ones are good but I found them quite hot to wear.

applepieandapplepie · 06/09/2025 21:33

BAM - made of bamboo and no horrible polyester or anything!

EnchantedToMeetYou2 · 06/09/2025 21:34

Another vote for Lovall 🙌🏻

onpills4godsake · 06/09/2025 21:35

Adanola are my go to

mumofoneAloneandwell · 06/09/2025 21:38

Sorry if this is too lowbrow for mn style section 🙈🙈

I swear by these from Asda x

Adanola every time - pair I’m wearing at 2 years old and still look brand new.
I also really like Tala leggings but they are slightly different material and bobble after a while - the ‘hold you in’ ability is unmatched however!

Thanks everyone. A few brands I’ve not heard of there so I will investigate! 😃

I wear the next active leggings, currently wearing ribbed ones which are lovely and thick.

Fridgetapas · 06/09/2025 21:48

Dunnes are super thick and cosy

FurForksSake · 06/09/2025 21:51

CRZ yoga naked feel on Amazon are often recommended.

DoubtfulCat · 06/09/2025 22:22

Funky Simplicity. I do lots of yoga and I have had a pair of their leggings since before lockdown- they just last, the don’t roll down or go baggy or anything. They’re perfect. My teacher has also had a pair for at least a decade. Expensive initially (but they do good sales!) but they last and last.

Urban Goddess are also very very good.

isitmytime · 07/09/2025 00:43

halara. They’re high waisted and cinch you in but don’t feel like you can’t breathe or that they’re cutting you in half.
lovely soft material that hides any imperfections and has a light compression feel. I’m a convert. I’d never wear leggings but I’ll happily wear the halara ones out in public.

anibendod · 07/09/2025 12:00

max and mia are great quality for the £ if you have access to Costco.

EspanaPorfavor · 07/09/2025 12:05

Sweaty Betty are my favourite, the high waisted power leggings. I wear for sport and for fashion

In your opinion. That’s not what the OP was asking.
@londongirl12 M+S have nice leggings that are patterned - I find they are slightly more flattering than plain ones, I don’t care if others think that I don’t look like a supermodel in them, I want comfort! I wear mine with vest tops and either an undone over shirt or big hoody.
