Brown lace up ankle boots - Lanx?

I am looking for a pair of lace up brown boots, I like a chunky heel, but not essential. I have a lovely black pair from R&B that have never needed to be broken in and I love them, but trying to move away from black.

I saw a Lanx pair advertised by google, they’re a pretty reasonable price. Does anyone have some, are they comfortable or is it with spending a bit extra? Also are they true to size? I’m a 5, but a 4 in some shoes. My R&B ones are a 5 and there’s a little bit of room (they didn’t do them in a 4.5).

Hi, I’ve got burgundy Lanx Langho boots. Ive not worn them yet so can’t say how comfortable they are to wear but they were when I tried them on, unlike the similar Grenson boots which I returned.

I bought a pair of Lanx Langho boots last year - they were very stiff to begin with and took a bit of wearing in, but they’re really comfortable now and I’m delighted with them x

They are true to size too, for me anyway

I have these- took about a week of breaking in [thick, thick, thickest socks, then put foot in a plastic sandwich bag which makes it really easy to get the boots on]

I'm a 37, or 37.5 , occasionally a 38. I went for 37.5

I love Lanx. They can take a bit of breaking in but the quality is outstanding. I also highly recommend their bags if anyone is looking for a good rucksack / messenger bag. They’re actually made for Lanx by Carrodale (highly reputable traditional bike carrier manufacturer) and are just fabulous! I used my messenger bag for work yesterday when it was pouring down and everything kept dry and me and my bag still looked great.

Edit: I meant Carradice, not Carrodale. No idea how my brain made up Carrodale but I blame my lack of caffeine this morning. 😆
