Dilemma over what to wear for job interview - advice needed!

Ok - I have an interview on Tuesday and have a choice of two outfits and would like your opinions please.

Job is for mid management position in national charity working with families.

So, do I go for black trouser suit, white top and red mary janes with silver necklace
or a purpley flower print jersey material wrap dress with brown knee high boots?

Do I go for smart and professional suit or more relaxed dress which would hopefully make me look more approachable if you see what I mean?

Top outfit sounds nicer..

However, the other one does sound more 'approachable', I totally know what you mean.

I would probably go option 2, but it depends on the charity etc.

If the charity is homestart or involves meeting families I would go for the dress. Not sure about boots in this weather though.

Thank you!

The charity is homestart but the role I am going for would not mean I'd be meeting families - its more of a consultancy role - supporting a number of schemes and meeting stakeholders etc.

Just to throw another spanner in the works I've found a really nice black jersey dress too which I could wear with the boots and some lovely chunky beads.

I've checked the forecast and think it is likely to be raining but mild.
