If you were going to knit a sweater for yourself...

Thinking of starting a fall knitting project for myself, but what is the 'in' style of jumper, cardigan or vest this season? What would you find most practical for the perfect knit.

Shape and colour ideas, please. Nothing too bulky because I get very warm!

I'm toying with the idea of this one www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hard---womens-sweater

I absolutely love this aesthetic and the pattern is free to download :-)

Lets try that again - I’ve just knitted myself a small pile of these in different marls of fine wool. I think they’ll be perfect over dresses and boots for Winter.

Is a very easy and addictive pattern and the short rows make me feel very clever!

Oh, I really like the Lane Loops sweater. I like that it's plain, but the ribbing goes up the sleeve and up the sides. Just enough detail to make it interesting.

I just knitted myself this - it's a pretty easy pattern, but it is fairly 'chunky' and warm... https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/aosta-sweater-30

Alternatively, I really like Petite Knit's patterns and have knitted a few of her things too www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/petiteknit-ravelry-store/patterns
