Shoes for cold mornings watching football

My boy plays football. Last season I struggled finding suitable shoes that were waterproof and kept my feet warm. Any suggestions?

Look for insulated boots. Like pp says Sorel are good but you can get cheaper ones too.

I wore skechers ankle boots with the furry collar. The thick sole kept the cold out from the bottom of the foot, and i get really cold feet.

I use waterproof Merrill walking shoes (like walking boots but no ankle support) with thick walking socks. Because I find it annoying to drive with anything that limits my ankle movement.

Also I keep my core warm with thermal leggings under waterproof trousers, thermal long sleeved top under a thick wollen jumper, big coat and fingerless gloves under mittens and of course hat and scarf.

Heated insoles are your friend here. I buy Terratherm ones in bulk. Otherwise Uggs are the only thing that keep my cold feet warm, but they aren't waterproof.

i bought some fake fur lined waterproof boots a couple of years ago, I think they were regatta. They were amazing and kept my feet warm and dry through watching many football and rugby matches. They are unfortunately not waterproof anymore so I think I need to treat myself again.

I wear my walking boots, so much warmer than anything else. Don’t need to be expensive ones.

Seconding Skechers. Even the trainers are warm.

I was wearing Ugg. Which were warm but as another poster said, they’re not waterproof
