I’m going to a wedding next month and I have bought this dress - what colour shoes do you think I can wear? the obvious choice is black

Gold or another jewel colour. Maybe get different colours for shoes and bag so it’s not too matchy.

yes, any of the metallics - whatever you’d be most likely to want to go with other outfits in future.

Don’t go for gold, OP. I find that it cheapens an outfit, more so than silver or bronze (or very muted gold)
