Outfit ideas to disguise birthmark on neck

Hi everyone I need some help please. I’ve been invited to a friends birthday meal next month and need outfit ideas please. I have a large birthmark on my neck which I want to hide. I was thinking of a roll neck jumper but I have a very round face and don’t think they suit me 😐I am very self conscious of the mark and there will be lots of people I don’t know there which is making me nervous. Are scarfs still out of fashion? Chunky necklace? Any help would be appreciated as I really want to go and not let her down by cancelling.

Personally i dont think you should be, but that isn't what you asked and im being a hypocrite cos im always trying to hide my huge forehead 🤦 at the point now with a 2 year old where I'm past giving a shit tho haha. Can you try a really sheer small scarf? Ill try have a look for a pic of what i mean. I have a round face too. I never wear scarves but thats more sensory. Anyway ill have a look tho i have the fashion sense of a mental old lady

I’d wear a scarf as a chunky necklace will draw attention to your neck. I’d also wear patterned trousers/skirt or coloured shoes to draw attention downwards.

Also possibly try some erborian cc cream for redness to disguise the colour if you’re that self conscious.

These are pretty too. I typed in full neck necklace. For the scarf i typed in sheer small scarf. Try doing that and find the style to match what you want

I was thinking a shirt dress with a little scarf around the neck and statement large collar, but I can only find something on Shein (whom I hate).
