Talk to me about LED face masks please.

I am quite intrigued by them and I have a colleague who swears by hers.
what results have you had, what was your starting point with your skin.What model has given good results etc.
im wondering if i will get my benefit from one.

I still have the neutrogena one from before they were withdrawn, I managed to get some extra activators on ebay afterwards ;)

Haven't used it in ages but it was great, I have acne prone reactive skin and it both calmed my skin & helped it heal faster. It didn't transform me into any sort of goddess though.

(*it was withdrawn because it used both blue & red light and there was some concern the blue light would harm eyes. Cost less than £50 though - they're all massively overpriced now!)

I saw one in Primark for about £20 recently .....any thoughts on whether it would be any good?!

I have one from Project E Beauty and I hoped it would reduce my spotty, red and dull skin. I have used it every day for four months and I haven’t noticed a difference to be honest 😬

I have two Omnilux ones - a blue light one and a red light one. The blue light one definitely helps control my acne if I use it regularly. It’s hard to tell whether the red light one helps much as I also have rosacea. The research indicates they’re effective if you buy masks with a certain number of lights and wavelength (you can find out via a quick google). They’re a pretty low maintenance way of improving your skin. I tend to do 10 min sessions when I’m going to bed.
