How has your Strathbury bag lasted (and Mulburry)

I am looking for a throw everything in tote bag. I like the Mulburry Bayswater tote and the new 9-t tote, the latter appeals because it has rounded handle and a proper zip closure. I have never spent that much money on a bag, so a bit hesitant if it is worthy investment. I also like the Kite bag from Strathbury but it’s a newish brand I think - how do they cope with daily wear? Thank you.

I have bags from both brands and I'd recommend. The leather is great quality and it's hard wearing. I use my Bayswater for work and love it. I have a tote from Strathberry and I don't use it as much because it's on the small side, but it's a really nice bag. They are the only designer brands I like because they are so understated.

Both are good IMO...

My everyday bag, different style, is 13yrs old, has been used daily and not always treated very carefully! But it still looks really good. The hard wear and strap still look practically new and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.
im looking at the lily for my next one.

I don't own a Strathberry, but I was in their store in Edinburgh last week where I had a chat with the assistant and a good nosey as to quality. The bags are made of nappa leather and I like their understated, yet stylish look. My plan is to get to their annual sample sale next year!

Ooo. Please can you tell more details about this sample sale?

@fivefoottwowitheyesofblue the assistant said to keep my eye on the website around February for news of the sample sale.

I’m interested. I’m considering a Strathberry Kite Hobo bag in suede as my next ‘everyday’ bag. I’m on my second Mulberry Bayswater tote. I don’t find them hard wearing. I have a couple of Mulberry small bags (Darley and Amberley) which last really well but are too small for a work type bag.

My Mulberry bags are 3 years old and lasting really well
