Desperate for a comfy swimming costume

Sorry dramatic title!

I've bought so many that don't fit - tried Adidas and Speedo, they just are not comfy anymore.

I need something that:

Suits a long body - maybe Long Tall Sally? Boden does long length I think? Marks and Spencer are quite nice? Or maybe something from Freya?

Does not dig in at my thighs. I have chunky thighs but thinner at the top.

Is suitable for proper swimming - front crawl. Needs to be a bit supportive of the chest area.

I have a slim waist (hourglass) so this seems to be the problem. If I size up it gapes at around the chest. It I wear my size it's too short and tight on the thigh. Broad shouldered.

Just something fairly plain I think as I want to wear it to the normal pool on a Sat morning, weekday evening etc. But I suppose bonus if I can wear it on holiday too.

It can be a sports costume but as I'm not having much luck with those I am branching out.

Any links welcome.

What about a sports tankini? If you buy for the top, it's easy and cheap to buy different swim shorts or bottoms that fit better.

Zoggs any good? I size up in my plain blue one. Similar shape to you and same demands of a costume.

Lands End Tugless great for proper swimming.

I have mahoosive boobs and am a larger size now, and love this tankini. I've have had the same design since I was smaller though because its flattering on most shapes . It looks like a one piece when on, but has the benefit of being a tankini. They also sell larger brief bottoms, smaller cut bottoms and used to also sell a skirted version. Great value too.

I always wear a tankini because my main criteria are (1) can do proper swimming but (2) can put on under my clothes for a hike/swim but not have to undress if I need a wee. Anyway, if you get shorts that fit, you can have different tops for sports/holiday if you want.

Another vote for Land’s End Tugless, long body variants. It’s not a separate listing, just a size option on the main listing.

I’ve been enjoying wearing this one, which is a good price.

I’m long bodied, big busted and swim for exercise. I love having a bit more coverage as it’s freezing at my pool.
