Help me to find baggy jeans

I’m looking for a nice pair of jeans to wear out - cannot find any that I love .

What I’m after is soft, baggy - normal or mid waist, blue or black.
Not barrel shaped and not overly wide. I’ve seen some in Zara but they seem really long - might end up with them and get them shortened . But in the meantime if anyone has any good suggestions I’d be most grateful!
Would spend up to £100 for the right jeans .

M&S denim section has a wide selection that are worth trying as is Primark.

Ah - it's like the search for the holy grail.

My best jeans recently have been from Pilcro (Anthropologie)
DKNY (from TKMaxx)
And the Albion Carpenter jeans from P&Co (these are hands down my favourite ever - big deep pockets and just wash really well - but possibly not dressy enough of you are looking for something smarte
And River Island usually has a good range

M&S boyfriend jeans. I love mine.

Ifyouhavetoask99 · 25/08/2025 09:22

Thanks for these! I’ll have a look at them all - yes definitely the holy grail!!!

I like Bershka for baggy jeans.

LilyRose88 · 25/08/2025 14:31

I like Levi's ribcage wide leg jeans. Really nice shape but cost around £110 unless they have a deal on.

Melancholyflower · 25/08/2025 19:19

Can you link the Zara ones so that we know what you are looking for.

Keepthecat · 25/08/2025 19:30

The H&M ones (high waist, wide leg) are a really good shape. The light blue are lovely and soft, very nice shape on. The darkest blue are still nice but not as soft.

ThreeB · 25/08/2025 19:54

I live in my And/Or wide leg jeans from John Lewis. Super soft and so easy to dress up or down.

But OP said normal or mid waist.

New Look Blue Adalae High-Waist Wide Leg Jeans

smallslyfox · 25/08/2025 20:25

Adalae from New Look are my holy grail too. I scored a pair for 10 pounds on vinted and have never looked back.

JustJazzy · 25/08/2025 20:38

Levis 501 90s are nice, not overly baggy and mid waist.

JustJazzy · 25/08/2025 20:38

Levis 501 90s are nice, not overly baggy and mid waist.

I can second the 90s 501s. Lower waist than the ribcage Levi's so may be better for the OP.

KarateSchnitzel · 26/08/2025 09:39

Levis or next

OhCobblers · 26/08/2025 10:20

Hollister low rise baggy

Loiste · 27/08/2025 07:13

I'll point you towards weekend/monki. If the cut is right for you they will be very comfortable.

But again OP said low or mid waist.

And that means I can't share the enthusiasm of the poster who expressed her delight with them? Catch yourself on 😂

Cyclingmummy1 · 27/08/2025 12:44

I'm a convert to River Island.

piscofrisco · 27/08/2025 12:46

I came in to say the New Look Adalae jeans too

piscofrisco · 27/08/2025 12:47

Or river island straight x

Ifyouhavetoask99 · 27/08/2025 17:45

Thanks a million for all suggestions .

I went to m&s yesterday on someone suggestion of the boyfriend jeans - accidentally took a pair of Carrot leg in with me and turned out that these are perfect! If anyone looking at them, I also accidentally took a bigger size in with me and they were perfect. Also - they are high waisted but I’m willing to accept it due to the leg style being exactly what I want 😂.

My DD found perfect jeans in M&S - sizing up gives the looser fit which is nice right now
