Last Winter I remember thinking that it would be nice to get leather or suede trainers in a solid colour, maybe two colours in addition to perennial white plain leather ones.
They will be for wearing with wide leg jeans in various shades of blue and an either dark khaki, tan, black or navy coats / jackets / trench. Everywhere I look there are suede Adidas - I have tried them on, various models, the soles are too flat. And they seems to not feel special anymore as so mane are around. I have tried Hoff but they felt too chunky, so will probably be New Balance.
I would be grateful for advice on two points - the most versatile colour that would go with all my coat options and blue jeans and also any specific models, less trendy. i am quite small in height and build, so slimmer styles work best.
