I’m still very undecided. Definitely don’t need fragrance although your look fantastic ordering made me waver briefly.

I have been lurking and reading everything & I am very envious of everyone’s choices.

I just caved and bought the LF Fragrance calendar and this will be my first ever fragrance one so I am very excited.

I am also going to get the M&S one after skipping it last year and getting the Next one but I am feeling very guilty at getting 2 as it is such an indulgence for me.

So I went to H this morning at 9.45 , turns out the queue for harrods fragrance started at 7.30 am and was so disruptive they opened the store early .All gone by 9 . So lesson learnt . Back to waiting for Harvey Nicks .

I’m not an impulse buyer and hate stashes/hoards in case any others like me are feeling lonely!

I walked past some magazines today and I realised that’s the kick I get from these threads. What’s the latest thing, and funny writing. Except instead of monthly, it’s multiple updates a day which is a bit brain scrambling! We need one of those flow chart type quizzes “Which BAC are you?” with the results being between lux £250+, mid £100+, and high street. And then another that is “Which lux BAC are you?” determine if you’re more make up fragrance or skincare. And another which is “Which RHOBAC are you?” 🤣 And another one done by star signs. Leo is definitely Harrods.

Those were the hey day. Though I’ll give the 90s/early millennium body fat shaming a pass.

I don’t know what’s going on with the BACs now there’s been so much info.

Is that the London store? Does disruptive mean fights? Thanks for the intel!

😳 I did see images of how it was at 8:45, with what looked like hundreds of people queuing around the block to Harrods.

My Harrods beauty one has just arrived 😍 I'm only opening it to ensure everything is in there. I'm going to be good and not open anything 😇

Also I think the HN fragrance one looks really good. Yes, it's mostly minis, but there's a lot of them and they're really expensive fragrances. I'm tempted to get it alongside my harrods one 🤣

That’s insane! I can’t believe they opened early just for the advent calendar 🤣. I bet all the surrounding shops were pissed off with the commotion!

They’ve managed it so badly once again. That’s awful opening early! Were there fights again?

Hi @OvaHere - Rituals was my favourite calendar last year, (it was the premium tree one from Xmas 23, which I got for under £40 in Feb 24 and put away!)

I think the best of this year’s three offerings is the diorama, but it’s not as pretty as the village scenes from previous years, imo. I like the contents very much, but I would want a discount as the value of the items isn’t that high.

I genuinely don’t understand what’s going on with the so-called premium offering - £149 for five days!

Last year there were loads of the previous year’s Rituals calendars in the outlets, but there’s been a total bargain drought in 2025, and I am very disappointed 😹

BTW: On the subject of Rituals

If people haven’t signed up to the loyalty scheme, then I would recommend doing so. You occasionally get a free gift with an online order, (and I think they still do a sign up GWP). The best thing, though is their birthday reward. Last year I trotted into my local Rituals, bought the cheapest little shower gel I could find and got to choose from four huge liquid hand soaps. I was very impressed.

Yes I am the same. I actually laughed out loud when I saw what the free gift was, sick of the sight of them!! I am quite a big fan and follower of Hannah Martin and I’m wondering why her name is on this again. I thought it a bit last year but less so - only a couple of the products are ones she uses frequently (if at all), and I therefore doubt she has much choice in the curation. I’ve not seen her use most of the items or brands ever!

That is nuts, I bought GB today as well so looking forward to the unboxing. Have subscribed (wish me luck with the un sub - hadn't realised that!) and got a gruum summer sun set free. Waiting for H&B now and relieved to have a calendar after over a month of analysis and chat! Friday is busy for me and I would like a few things in this month's box so happy enough with subscription although if had known about link and discount might not have. Do we think the Harrods 7am people include those who want to resell? Seems a bit low class to repeat the fighting nonsense for a nice store....

Harrods really need to get their act together, this is the second year in a row they’ve managed to mess up both the online ordering and in store!

Has anyone gone through Quidco to order one of the LF advents? I can’t see anything in the t&c that indicates the calendars are excluded from cashback.

If that’s the case, then it’s potentially 3.75% off for existing customers and 11.25% for new ones.

Dithering about the LF fragrance again, btw!

I used up one of my 10ml FS perfumes today, so that totally justifies buying the calendar🙀

@CountryCobI also signed up to order Glossybox, hindsight and I could have just relied on mumsnet BAC detectives!
I sent them a message through the app asking to cancel and they have replied to say it’s been done so will keep an eye on it.

Yep, I did for the perfume one and had a tracking email back for £1.95 so not that great.

I was worried it would potentially sell out on Friday and I am working then too. I didn't want to risk leaving it in dh's hands! He doesn't quite understand the urgency.
