Thanks that's a kind offer but I bought one. I guess the Harrods website description is incorrect calling it satin. Although it didn't look very matte on Crystal which is one of the reasons I liked it.

I’ve just gone through my lists again and tried to filter them. Firstly by how many products I definitely or maybe want. Then by of those, what would I be willing to buy separately if I didn’t have the AC.
I’m surprised to note that Fenwicks is now out of the running for me, it was such a strong contender at one point.

What changed your mind on that one?

I'm finding CB/SNK/Fenwick are about on an equal footing in terms of desirability. I'm 99% sure CB is a definite as it works out the cheapest with points credit and the gift card. Out of the other two I really should only get one at the most.

Also struggling to ignore the idea of buying Glossybox. 😬

@OvaHere I just feel like while they do have many good items, some of the main drawers for me are things that I already have and would just be topping up (when I don’t necessarily need to). And in terms of strong “would like to try”, there are a few more products in other ACs that I would like and would cost more to buy separately.

Im definitely going to get SNK. CB is also appealing but I haven’t yet compared that on my list yet. Initially LF was a strong mid-range contender but again it’s mostly just topping up, so would probably only go ahead if discounted.
I still have 2 beauty boxes unopened so I shouldn’t really get more than 1 AC, but I always knew I would 😅

I ordered Look Fantastic fragrance. Quick note - the picutre shows Goldfield and Banks Paicific Rock Flower, describtion Ingenious Ginger. I prefer Flower as it's new - I am not sure what will come with the advent.

I have ordered the LF fragrance this morning, it appears the subscriber discount is £10 off and the recycle:me voucher that you get these days doesn’t work.

Ok was a serious contender for me as regretted not getting it last year but after looking at the contents another who is disappointed.
I have gone down the GB subscription and hope to order at midday today, I can signed up yesterday and can see they have taken August and September payments now so will try and cancel the subscription tomorrow, if I start tomorrow gives me a few days of haggling to get it done.

I've purchased the Lookfantastic fragrance calendar too. I had points to use from the recycle me app so it was a steal. I've picked up the grooming one for my dh. Still on the fence re the beauty one as it was better last year but then apart from the eyeshadow palette I will use the items.I think I prefer the ASOS calendar though but am going to take some time to compare them today. Definitely want Glossybox but I will be working when its released on general sale and am concerned it might sell out.

I'm on the fence re the ok beauty advent calendar and need a full list of the items before I decide. I thought elle was going on sale today for those on the waitlist? Pretty sure I signed up but no email as of yet.

I know I said I wasn't going to buy the LF fragrance but now I'm wavering. I got the subscriber discount even though my subscription cancelled last month. And I have £20 in points making it £100. Arrgh

Just purchased the LF Fragrance AC with discount and beauty points for £100. This will be my 2nd AC as I’m still lusting after the John Lewis…excepting the red lipstick, the products look fabulous.
Have to wait until 3/10 so still got a month’s worth of dithering.

I caved and bought LF Fragrance with the unexpected subscriber discount and points voucher it was £99 plus free shipping.

I'm hopeless. I need to forget about GB now though otherwise at this rate I'll end up with 7 calendars by Dec. 😳

I clicked on the link for Selfridges and it put me in a queue!

Bought the LF fragrance which I'd decided is my top choice along with possibly the French Pharmacy when it comes out. I may revive the idea of a Jadvent and keep one till then. January is such a hard slog, I need the lift then more than Nov or Dec.

Am thinking about LF grooming although DH has said he's got a backlog of stuff so not to 😕

It will probably be fine. Just make sure you cancel by the date stated so it doesn't roll over.
