I think I am disappointed with new DeMellier handbag

I have been lusting after the New York midi bag in raffia for so long. I finally went for it and bought it a while ago. I have still not used it and don’t really know when I will as, being completely practical in the cold light of day, it’s a) not big enough for all my mum crap and b) doesn’t shut properly.

I’m torn, it’s such a beautiful bag and I love looking at it, but realistically I have no idea when it will be the right bag to use ☹️ it’s not for sale on the website anymore so I don’t think I’d be able to buy it again if I sold it then changed my mind. But the money isn’t an insignificant amount to me. Help, what should I do?

I’ve just seen the price. Almost £500 for raffia?! Insane.

@AppleDumplingWithCustard it’s a seriously beautiful bag I didn’t regret it in that way, I am just not sure how much use it will get.

Just the summer months! If you have good bags for the majority of seasons then keep it for the summer. If not, sell it and invest in a more versatile bag.
