Does anything work for Tightening Tummy Skin?

Just that really…. After 2 kids, my tummy was really stretched as I had way too much fluid and whilst i’m slim, the skin on my tummy is still crepey and a bit saggy!
I exercise 4 times a week but wondered if there was anything I could use to tighten that part of my tummy
Does anyone have any recommendations they’ve tried?

@johnellis - Thanks! i’ve tried the micro needling but that didn’t do anything either!
Maybe it’s just something I’ll learn to love!
as i exercise and drink plenty of water etc but other than a tummy tuck (which i don’t want to do) i wondered if there was a miracle cream!

Let me know if you find it!

@Doyledoo - 🤣🤣 i’ve done so much research and there are creams that promise the world but the reviews don’t match that!

For me, running. Two 5ks a week

Modernfamily2011 · 21/08/2025 12:58

@Meadowfinch did you have loose skin to start with? and the running helped?

No.

Surgery would probably help 😆

Yeah I go through stages with mine. I’ve had 3 kids and even up until my late 40’s with a lot of running, hiit and weight training it was pretty passable, a bit of wrinkling down the very bottom but I could hide that. Now in my 50s and after weight loss through illness, (where I didn’t really have the weight to lose) even though I’ve now regained the weight my stomach reminds me of when I gave birth! I would never have surgery so they need to hurry up and formulate that magic cream 😄

@Doyledoo Completely agree!!!
I’m the same, lots of exercise, hydration etc and whilst it’s much better now than when my kids were born, I still have a look of ‘bloat’ because of the excess skin…
I’ll have to keep researching but I did think i was looking for something that doesn’t really exist 😫

Before pregnancy my belly was flat and smooth. I put on a lot of weight during pregnancy, which I lost almost immediately, but was left with a loose flabby tummy.

I started speed walking as soon as possible and running when ds was about 6 months. It took another six months to tighten up.
