Any recommendations for soft barrel leg jeans? Not clown like.

I like barrel leg trousers and have been trying to find barrel leg jeans for so long and failing! I think I need a soft barrel leg as so many jeans I’ve ordered online have really exaggerated barrel legs and I really don’t suit them. My DS burst out laughing when I tried on the barrel leg jeans from Hush 😩 Not the reaction I was hoping for! Does anyone have any recommendations for nice barrel leg jeans that I could try? I see lots of women wear them and I like them but just can’t find them to buy. I’m size 8 and not bothered about budget.

Whistles have some nice ones which are fairly subtle.

Came here to see what others have to say, but also to sympathise - I have the Hush ones. My sons haven’t commented on them (yet) but I will say boys can be brutal when passing comment on clothes. I have a dress I love which my oldest told me looked looks my pyjamas 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

Beyond Nine do a lovely pair that have the benefit of being comfortable too.

Hands down COS does the best barrel legs on the high street. Super flattering and not stupidly oversized, but great quality and a really nice fit and silhouette. I have about 3 different colours and live in them

I’m currently wearing some from Oliver Bonas, so comfy! My teens haven’t told me they look awful either, so I’ll take that as a win!

The carrot leg jeans from M&S are more of a gentle barrel.
I’ve been asked by two women where they come from!

Thanks all. I’ve ordered the Whistles and Tu jeans so hoping they’ll be nice. The Beyond None ones are too wide for my taste. I also ordered the M&S ones but had to get them in light denim which I didn’t really want as it was the only colour left in my size. Why do M&S never have stock?!
I had a look at the Cos ones but they look really ill fitting on the model. I’ll maybe try them on in the shop to see how they fit.

Hope the ones you have ordered do the trick. However, if they don’t, I’d like to recommend the Mint Velvet barrel leg jeans. ‘Wears my Money’ recommends them and she knows her denim 😊

@DogPawsMudFurThe recommendations here were great. I ordered the Sainsbury’s, Marks carrot leg, Mint Velvet and Whistles. I wanted to keep them all which is so unusual for me and jeans!
I decided to keep the Marks ones for casual and the Whistles one for smart. Love them! I wish Marks stock was better as I would love the dark ones too.
I also ordered barrel leg jeans from Me and Em and returned as they made me look as if I had proper bandy legs. Not flattering at all.
