Waxing ettiquette

I'm off on hols soon and so am having my bits waxed tomorrow (at 9am eeek!). TBH my lady garden is pretty overgrown and so would like to know, should I trim it a bit round the edges or just go and get waxed as I am?

If I trim it a bit will the waxing not be as effective? I'm not a waxing virgin but its been ages since I had a bikini wax. I usually just get them before hols and the rest of the time just trim and shave a bit. I've let it grow freely though recently! (TMI!)

Any advice gratefully received.

Just go the way you are. I went last week not having been since February . It was fine.

just go as it is, if it needs trimmed they'll do that before they wax you

They hurt the same longer or shorter and remove just as well, so you might aswell leave them long. Did mine recently after a long spell and it really hurt.

It will hurt more if the hair is v. long, so it might not be such a bad idea to have a little prune first.

thanks, i may prune a little bit, don't want to frighten the poor girl who has to do it!
