I hate having to do my hair properly when camping and wondered if a bandana type thing might be acceptable? If so, can anyone find me a nice one?

too short for pony tail, can't cope with growing it just for pony tail whilst camping

will have to be naturally frizzy wavy mess then

I wear bandeau things thus or similar (though not usu ones costing £12 ) to cover greasy roots and prevent sunburnt parting.

no no no to square ones knotted at nape of neck

Get a nice hat from Accessorize!!

A Buff is good for such things and many more.

I was going to suggest the buff, but someone already has. I bought them for my sister and her husband last christmas- they do lots of walking, diving etc. they've found them really useful.

Thanks to you all for suggestions, I think Buff is what I had in mind really, but couldn't think of it, hence vagueness of my question thanks anyway, will look at them and hats
