Help me part with these lovely items that I never wear!

I am at home with a bug but using the time to do a bit of a wardrobe clear out. Trying to tackle the “nothing to wear” problem.

i have a couple of beautiful leather jackets that I bought 8/10 years ago. I just never reach for them as they are both quite fitted. I am not sure whether fashion has changed or me but I just don’t like how they look.

also some lovely wool RED trousers. I think I thought they would look great with a stripy top but I only wore them once to work and just didn’t feel like me.

Also a jumpsuit that I have been complimented on but I think I have decided that jumpsuits are not for me…

jeans that fit well but I think tight jeans are just not for me anymore even though I am slim

shall I just let go?

Would you commit to wearing them once more and seeing how you feel then?

It's ok to just let things go and they can have a new and happy life with someone who would love them!

Yes, you are right. I might keep the red trousers as the cut is really nice and maybe they will look ok with a slouchy grey or black jumper…

I used to hang on to everything in case I wanted to wear it again one day, but one day I just had enough of having so much taking up so much space and was really ruthless. Unless it was sentimental, genuinely one of a kind or something I regularly reached for I sold it- vinted, eBay, car boots and donated some too; made a fair amount of money and having a more streamlined wardrobe of stuff I genuinely love wearing right now has been a revelation. I love the thought that someone else is hopefully enjoying them too (although aware many will be thrown away by now sadly). Most clothes can be rebought if you have genuine regrets, but i doubt you will.

@Methefurious you are so right. I find I tend to wear a handful of things and seeing the other stuff in my wardrobe is just annoying.

Let it go. My logic is that you won’t miss it BUT if you do, chances on you can find it on Vinted or buy something similar online and get it delivered to your door in 24 hours.

They sound more A/W season? If it was me I’d keep until spring. If you haven’t worn by then you never will
