I’m away for a few nights but flights went up £200 in several days so we aren’t adding bags per person. Just one 15kg for 4 of us and a small bag each.
I need capsule wardrobe help. City break - walking and drinks , no outdoors/ sports stuff needed though there might be a beach day
I’ve lived in wide legs this summer. Do I just do this again ? I need some lighter coloured ones. Are the linen blend m and s any good ?
What are we wearing for “warmer than home “ (heatwave aside ) as a petite woman but going to a country where they’ll be in jackets while I’m sweating !!
I need a stylist or you wonderful lot to help. Size 14, a bit of a waist, medium boobs so certainly not hourglass. All weight on my tummy/ bum thank you !!

What I will say is that I always over pack! Dor a week I took:

4 linen dresses (2 long, 2 short and a bit more dressy)

One pair shorts

One pair wide leg trousers

3 tops

2 shirts / blouses that work as layers over the dress

One beach cover up

Swimsuits

I could have lost one of the dresses and one of the tops easily.

This is a great start and I too always over pack I’ve got a white shirt I have taken away twice not but not worn. It’s a giant blousy French connection. Gorgeous but I fear I’m too short to carry it off. Sigh.

I'm not super stylish but I wear a lot of wide leg viscose trousers in the summer, paired with simple tops or v-neck t-shirts (I live on the continent, so late 20s/early 30s is normal). They are cool and fairly practical, and take up very little room in a case. I have M&S linen blend trousers from a few years ago and they were fine then. I am borderline petite (5'3) and found the straight leg ones have plenty of room - the wide leg ones I tried then seemed to have a lot of fabric. So wear linen ones, pack viscose ones, four tops and a couple of dresses? I know I would struggle to be that strict though!

I’ve got an m and a voucher on my phone somewhere so might get those linen mix ones and a knitted t shirt and then have three more tops I like and maybe a long dress for onr evening
