Nice long sleeved dress for elderly mum’s 90th

My Mum is 90 in a few weeks and is having a party - sedate afternoon affair!
She is looking for a new dress - ‘long sleeves, size 16/18, likes blues and greens, isn’t very mobile and has to be comfy, not low neckline.’
Any idea where to start looking please?

My mother, in her 90s, likes Toast. (And I actually gave her a dress she chose on the site for a recent birthday.) In the last few years she’s had to have midi dresses shortened. They don’t have much with proper long sleeves right now, but probably will before your DM’s party.

Palava dresses are lovely - beautifully made in the UK, and full of interest. (Low stock of long sleeves and size 18s currently.) But she might find them too obviously retro.

Justine Tabak is another maker of wonderful dresses. Obviously I don’t know your mother’s budget - if it’s ample something like this perhaps?

Gather and See is generally an excellent source of wearable dresses. The difficulty at the moment is the lack of long sleeves. Should be different in a couple of weeks.
