Handwashing embellished dress

I've just bought a long embellished dress from Vinted. I tried it on then noticed some deodorant marks. I'd just showered and hadn't put any deodorant on ? The dress is embellished with sequins.
Any tips on handwashing? What's the best detergent?
I just hope the marks come off as it's a lovely dress otherwise.

Following

I have 3 embellished shirts and tops to wash. So far I’ve put them in netting wash bags to protect them and I’m planning on washing them either on a delicate wash or a quick 15 min wash using liquid washing detergent

But I’m up for finding out how I should wash them properly

Wash on a delicate cycle in a net bag if you have one, or a pillowcase, turn the garment inside out but rub a little washing up liquid on the marks first, good luck

@AnchorWHAT thank you

Just popping on to say I’ve successfully washed some sequined items placing each inside out in a net wash bag on a delicate cycle. No damage and nice and clean

I bought a dress on Vinted that was completely covered in sequins - and labelled dry clean only. Took it to the shop and they wanted £25 to clean it!! I’d only paid £10 for it! So after doing some research online I washed it gently in the bathtub (you don’t want to see what colour the water was… I told myself it was dye not dirt…) and it came out fine! Might not be what’s required in your case as it depends on how fragile it is and the washing instructions but could be worth a try.

Thanks. I ended up doing mine on a wool wash in the washing machine. Was fine.
