Denim shorts. Trad not jorts

I'm wondering if they're over.
I love /d mine. Updated the style this year but increasingly just think they don't look chic.

They never looked chic! But they’re an evergreen item - a staple.

They are comfy and free the legs. I don’t care if they look chic in all honesty.

I still see plenty of people wearing them where I live (myself included!). I think they can look good with a belt, tucked in vest and Birkenstocks.

I don't think you could call they chic, but they are a summer classic. I just bought some Levis with embroidered yoke at the back. I wear with vest top tucked in and flat strappy sandals. No rips or dangly threads for me.

What is the different between trad shorts and jorts? Do you mean high waisted and fairly long ones vs short and ripped ones?

Sorry folks, my kids have just informed me that they call jogger shorts jorts. In the real world they are jeans shorts…
