November Wedding Reception, Evening at Posh Hotel Knightsbrudgr

Wedding elsewhere, another country then few weeks later at end of November from 6pm is the reception in a posh hotel in Knightsbridge. It's black tie so DH easy...what on earth do I wear?

Please any suggestions???? Im thinking long evening dress. Im olive skinned, dark brown hair.

What clothing size? What’s your budget?

If it’s end of November all the party wear will be in the shops for Christmas. Some of that is quite formal.

I really like some of the Ghost dresses that are stocked at John Lewis. I have one in dark green that I love for a winter formal.

With you colouring I’d be looking for something in dark green or a deep red I think. Or maybe even gold.

Budget havent a clue! Nothing like thousands...looking more probably up to £300 for dress.

I got something lovely in Phase Eight last November for a formal evening function in Mayfair. I’d keep an eye out though autumn

A trawl through John Lewis is always worthwhile, I love the Reiss and Raishma dresses here but loads of others

otherwise , Wolf & Badger, Maje, The Outnet all worth a look if you want something a bit more unusual
