Stylish holiday wear in ‘Light Summer’ colours

Morning, lovely MNetters! Going away soon for a warm weather holiday and my summer wardrobe is almost non-existent (mostly because I don’t like my legs! 😬)

I need to find some stylish summer wear, ideally in light summer (colour theory) tones so I can mix and match. It’ll be a beach/camping hol with a few nice restaurants thrown in. Please help me - links would be amazing.

Ok beach and camping doesn’t equal stylish. Shorts, vests, and a couple of nice dresses for dinners. Were are you going to- likely to get bitten? You’ll need long sleeves and legs for the evening.

i picked up some lovely almost linen shorts in Tu and some wide leg trousers. Haven’t been inspired by much else.

What sort of budget?

This could work for both, and mix and match with other items.

Perhaps a linen shirt like this? https://www.withnothingunderneath.com/collections/the-linen/products/the-linen-sky-blue-stripe-boyfriend-shirt Practical cover from the sun, can be dressed up or down, and you should get plenty of wear from it after your holiday too. Have fun!

Reiss have the most lovely linen trousers if your budget allows, put those with some T shirts from places like Whistles and you will be good for daytime or evening. Light summer dresses are everywhere in the sale, filter by cotton and linen on the John Lewis/M&S websites

Thank you for the responses 🙏🏻 - @boulevardofbrokendreamss, yes, they’ll be mozzies out in the evening. Any more shorts and tees/wide leg trouser recs? These are definitely items I need to buy.

@RoosterPotato, I like this coord, thank you (shame it’s not in stock). Hoping not to spend more than £250.

@Valkirie, this looks like a good investment and a really versatile piece, thanks.

Thanks @Hdpr, am about to look at Reiss and Whistles. Sorry I wasn’t clear, when I said ‘light summer’ I meant aligning with the ‘light summer colour palette’ (colour theory) as opposed to a light material. 🙈

I got some wide leg linen trousers in Bonmarché of all places for £11 in the sale. They are probably not going to last forever but they are very light weight I have worn them loads this summer. Would be perfect for holiday wear.
