What’s the best, streak free fake tan?

Help!!!

I applied the tan luxe gradual tan last night, and it’s done nothing. I know a gradual tan does take a little bit of time to work, but usually when I use a gradual they leave a little bit of colour the day after. I’m trying to find the perfect tan routine before my holiday in September, but this has done nothing!

ideally it’ll have a guide colour so that someone can help me tan my back, and then I’ll take a gradual tanner on holiday with me to keep topped up. Also bonus points for a decent face tan too!

Skin and Tan previously called Skinny Tan. I love their Wonder Serum. Constantly get compliments when wearing it as people can't believe it isn't natural!
Ps I'm a natural blonde so quite pale!

I’ll take a look!! I’m normally super pale, but picked up couch to 5k this year and have a decent colour on the lower half of my arms. It’s just the rest of me 🤣

I have the tan luxe face drops and they work a bit too well. Have to be very careful with how many drops( 3 at most) but I mostly use Dove facial tanner. Always comes out well. I use their self tan too .Im fair with a golden tone in summer and switched to medium to dark on my DD’s advice. The light tan was just too pale. I also like Bondi Sands in the blue bottle.
DD uses Coco and Eve and it looks really good but a bit dark for me.

How are you going with coach to 5 op? What happens when you hit 5?

I’ve had to stop due to an operation, so I’ll be starting again when I can! There’s a 5k to 10k programme for after, but I’ll be working on building up to a decent 5k time! I’d ran two 5ks before my op.

Coco & Eve is my go to. It’s a mousse but not drying at all, never streaks and is the least smelly fake tan I’ve ever used.

How does it fade? I’ve just taken a look online and the reviews say it can fade patchy? I think I’m between the skin and tan and coco and eve!

I use the tan luxe gradual and agree that the first application usually is pretty nothingy, but a second layer suddenly brings it out and gives me a great colour. Give it another go!

manicpixieschemegirl · 06/08/2025 09:11

I try to mitigate patchiness by exfoliating and moisturising every day and it does help @AugustSlippedAwayInto. Dove gradual tan wears off really nicely and also doesn’t streak.

Oh I’ll give it another layer tonight! I’m just dying to feel more human 😂

Haha dyeing! Very good.

The bondi sands aero liquid gold is fantastic and very natural. I can even apply it to my face and it goes on nicely. If I want it a little darker I apply two layers

3KidsPlusDdog · 06/08/2025 21:09

I’ve tried just about every tan there is, and my favourite has to be Bondi sands mousse, applied with their mitt

It’s nicer than a professional spray tan, and I only need to do it every 5 days or so.
