psoriasis on scalp and hair dye?

Does anyone here have psoriasis and have it on the scalp?

I had this first as a teenager but then I forgot about it. Then it flared up a few years ago. I got it under control.

Last year I started getting my hair highlighted to take fun colours in my hair. I dyed my hair over the weekend and it seemed to have caused a flare up of psoriasis on my neck.

Now I have no idea what to do in the future regarding my hair?

Will I let the fun fashion colours fade out and let all this highlighted stuff grow out now?

Maybe book in with my hairdresser and see if I could get this to grow out or get a colour applied closer to my natural hair colour.

I had to make the decision to grow out the dye in 2014 because of psoriasis on my scalp as you could almost guarantee that when I wanted to get it coloured my scalp and hairline would flare up. I think subconsciously I was worried about a flare up that it became a self fulfilling prophecy. Sorry that this isn’t much help.

Yeah I can’t do dye. Superdrug shaders and toners and the odd bit of root spray are enough for me
