Awkward neckline but slip needed. MN wisdom please!

I’ve bought a vintage radley dress at a jumble sale. It was £4,59. I love it so much but it’s black pleated silk and my goodness it’s see through! I need a slip but it has quite an awkward neckline. Pic attached is a similar neck but it’s not the dress as I am away from home. I really want to wear the dress to office Xmas party but I can’t show them my pants 😂 I’ve had a look in primary but their slips straps will stick right out….any ideas? Never bought a slip ever….

Slip skirt and a bandeau style top. M&S is my go to for slip skirts. Bandeau top might be harder to get. Might be work looking at swimwear
