Bugger!

That was my first proper posh frock purchase.

Was supposed to get me through three weddings.

TheFallenMadonna · 28/05/2008 21:54

Fenn Wright Mason have some good dresses for big norks.

I quite like some of the fenn wright manson stuff thefallenmadonna... I've got a fenn wright manson in my road so I might have to do a bit of a recce.

I like this

TheFallenMadonna · 28/05/2008 22:32

And this

HeadFairy · 28/05/2008 22:34

I like the second one thefallenmadonna... I can't wear the first, I end up looking like a sack of potatoes.. I need a fuller skirt to balance out my top half.

SOOOO mean to link to Ghost when I'm a non earning SAHM and am running out of Ghost stuff that I bought when I was a high earning ball breaker!

poppy34 · 28/05/2008 22:36

wear vest top under it .. I don't have ginormous norks and still struggle with em

HeadFairy · 28/05/2008 22:39

poppy, I could wear a vest underneath if I got something cool, maybe a very thinly striped red one... but the length is still a problem, the proportions are all wrong.

OP posts:
poppy34 · 28/05/2008 22:59

was it this sort of length

or this one

long sleeves one are bit better. And can't blame you for being disappointed - bought one for wedding a few years ago and have worn it loads

HeadFairy · 29/05/2008 11:06

yeah it is about that length, it's actually slightly shorter on me, but worse than that the proportions are all wrong, the drop waist is actually on my proper waist, I look like I'm wearing a child's dress!

Ha! damn you diana von furstenburg and your dresses for short folk, I have sent it back and bought myself the most lovely maxi dress from ghost... this doesn't do it justice it's very flattering and rather bohemian looking... just got to find some great shoes now.. I was thinking pale gold gladiator sandals. What do you think?
