Sheer, cool toned red lipstick for those who hate the feeling of lipstick.

I’m 50 and feel my lips have got thinner over the years. I’m blonde and cool toned and have struggled to find a red lipstick that I suit. Matte lipstick looks awful on me and I kind of hate the feeling of lipstick but I would love to wear more red colours so I thought a light, sheer lipstick might work. Any recommendations?

Black honey looks brown and patchy on me.

It's lovely, it's about as warm as I can go with a warm pink as I'm really cool toned but I'm wearing it most days

Fenty Gloss Bomb Heat Universal Lip Luminizer + Plumper, I have it in fussy but they have a red cherry as well. I don't know if it's cool or warmed toned, can't tell my the pics.

I’m going to get myself the Pink Honey.

Is that a stingy one? I can't bear those.

It tingles a bit, I don't find it stings but it's not a plain lip gloss. I don't like other that full on sting.

You've got other great recommendations without even a hint of tingle so maybe give this one a miss.

I also have the tinted Nivea lip balm, love it for a bit of colour!

Not RTFT. Burts bees lipbalm in red dahlia? It’s inexpensive and is supposed to be a dupe for black honey.

@Noshadelamp I’m in Spain on holiday at the moment and popped into Sephora to try this-it’s lovely in the red and only a little tingly. Does it stay on for long?

@ShebaQueenthanks-the first one you linked looks perfect. I think I have the second one but am scared to use it as it stays on for hours and is really pigmented.

That's great! Yes for me around 3 hours, doesn't last through a meal but lasts well for a lip gloss.

I've just bought a Pixi lip balm,it's pink (and gorgeous) but they do a sheer red roo. Worth a look.

Bobbi Brown crushed lip colour lipstick, a bit of a cross between a lipstick and a balm. Comes in a large range of colours, the redder ones are more mid toned but I am pale and blonde and they suit me.

Violette FR Bisou Balm in Betise or Mon Cheri. I was expecting to be disappointed because of all the advertising on SM but I bought Betise and I love it.
