Does anyone own a Barneys Originals leather jacket? Would you recommend?

I’ve got my eye on a black leather biker jacket by Barneys Originals. I haven’t heard of the company and can’t find much online about the quality of the jackets/leather.
I’m open to other recommendations too! I recently purchased an AllSaints one on Vinted but it was very small made 😢

I do! I got it from ASOS about six years ago. It’s lasted fine, although I don’t wear it all that much. It’s a perfectly serviceable piece of clothing.

I have two Barneys biker jackets - one from ASOS I think Great quality for the money

I have had one from Barneys via Asos which was lovely with very soft leather, but later bought a very similar one in a smaller size and the leather was nowhere near as nice. I ended up returning it.

Neither of them came close to my All Saints ones though. I would recommend trying one on in a shop but they do usually come up quite generous and give a bit as they get worn in.

Thanks all. I decided to leave it and hold out for an AllSaints, which is what my instinct was telling me to do!

Depending on your budget, have a look at Aero Leather in Scotland. They do serious quality leather jackets, some custom made, but they can be expensive.

@AllMyExesWearRolexes thanks! I like a modern style, in black with lots of zips. But that looks like a great quality item of clothing in a gorgeous colour (I pretty much live in black!).

Tried on one in tkmaxx, it was beautiful and buttery and a great bargain but they didn’t have my size, so gutted.

If you like a lot of zips, look at the Elvis jacket, that's only in black.

I’ve had my Barneys suede one from TK Maxx for over twenty years, I love it

I have 4 Barney’s jackets, 2 leather and 2 suede and love them. They were asos bargains from years ago(5+ yrs ago) and have lasted really well, I live in my leather jackets. I haven’t worn the suede ones as often but have them maybe 3/4yrs.
